thumb_sapphireIf you’re looking for a smartphone or an otherwise capable featurephone, you’re probably not going to want to buy a handset made by a luxury fashion design house known for their glitz and glam. But, if you’re looking to complement your couture outfit with a handset on par with your discerning tastes, you might want to turn to Christian Dior’s lineup of mobile phones. In fact, Dior is planning to release another round of uber-lux handsets this December.embed_diamond1

The new Christian Dior lineup will include the two variants of the Dior flip phones that started it all. They’ll be available in your choice of gold plating or a black PVD coating, both covered in Sapphire crystals. The price? If you have to ask, you aren’t in the market for one. But, just to satisfy curiosity, they’ll run you $6,500 a piece.

These two handsets will be special-order only for $7,900 and $13,400, respectively. There’s also the Christian Dior Nacre which comes encased in mother-of-pearl for $8,700.

It’s important to have shiny things.
