Vestax and algoriddim today announced the release of Spin, a brand new all-in-one bundle of digital DJ hardware and algoriddim’s djay 3 software. The Spin DJ controller was jointly developed for optimal integration with the award-winning djay software, and delivers Mac users of all levels the experience of mixing, scratching and playing their music like a turntable DJ. djay 3 seamlessly integrates with the user’s iTunes library and transforms the Mac into a complete DJ setup, while Vestax’s hardware replicates the control and physical sensation of mixing and scratching on actual records.
Why am I telling you about this? Well there’s a couple of reasons…..
First of all, djay has very tight integration with iTunes – which clearly is something the iPhone has.
Second of all, the hardware interface that the Spin provides is crying out to be replicated on the Screen of an iPhone using an App.
Now, let’s see – if you remove the wired USB connection and make the Spin in to an iPhone application – suddenly you have a pair of decks on your device! Okay, okay, it’s not quite that simple, but, you’ve got to wonder how long it’s going to be before there’s a complimentary iPhone app …..!
For now though, the Spin will be available exclusively in Apple Stores in the USA and Canada (starting today). Bring in to the UK – ASAP!
If you want to know more about the Spin, go here.

As a result he has a broad and deep knowledge in numerous areas of Mobile – from network operators to device vendors, to infrastructure and middleware vendors (not to mention content delivery) – and has worked for companies in all of these areas! He is based in the UK, a hotbed of activity for mobile, and recently became a father for the second time – as oppose to in his younger years when he was happy spend time tweaking all manner of mobile devices to 'nth' degree, he now looks for services and hardware that provide the most efficient, compact, and reliable improvements to his already manic life! It’s his opinion that Mobile solutions should be there to help to make your life better – if a particular solution (be it service or device) isn’t doing this, he believes you need to ask the very important question of why you continue to use it... His focus at IntoMobile is mainly on Mobile content, services, and infrastructure, particularly as regards the UK market – and with the occasional look at devices.
