ALK Technologies have just released another update to their hugely popular navigation app for the iPhone.  The latest update brings a number of improvements, including enhanced GPS performance as well as iPod controls within the application.  This means that users can now control their iPod through the CoPilot Live application, making the application even more simple to use.  This automatic update is free to all existing users.
Since its launch in August, CoPilot Live continues to prove extremely popular with consumers in the UK & Ireland, currently retaining top position amongst the paid navigation apps on the Apple App Store.  The CoPilot application also holds the number one position in the iTunes Top Grossing Apps chart, meaning that it has generated more revenue than any other app sold via the Apple App Store here in the UK.
CoPilot Live for iPhone is available as UK + Ireland version for just £25.99 or a Pan-Europe version for £59.99. Single region versions are also available for most European countries for €33.99.
This is, I think, the best Sat Nav application on the iPhone, so you’d be spending your money well :-)

The latest update broke the GPS for my iPhone. I really have a hard time getting a lock now after the update. With the holiday drop in price for Navigon I’m switching apps. I really needed a GPS on a trip recently and Copilot couldn’t get a lock. Luckily I was able to load Google Maps and get directions.
