A new version of Nokia Image Exchange for S60 has been released. In addition to fixing some of the known bugs, it also adds accelerometer and support for S60 3.2 (Feature pack 2) devices. However, the single biggest feature is the all new Activity Notifications feature, which informs you about activities relating to your images and contacts. Mentioned “activities” include showing new images and comments on images.
Finally, this release includes changes to the way connections are made. New load balancing architecture is introduced to provide better responsiveness for more users.
As for the touch-enabled version, the ideas are still on the table, but from the “official blog post,” we learn it’s part of the plan, so stay tuned. In the meantime, to grab Nokia Image Exchange hop over to Ovi Store and take it from there.
