Fring iPhone app gets one-way video calls

Few days ago we talked about the brand new version of Fring for Symbian S60 which enabled Skype video calls. Now the company is bringing the same/similar functionality to the iPhone and iPod Touch users. The “similar” part comes from the fact that iPhone users can see the person they’re talking to, while the other way around doesn’t work, as iPhone lacks the front-facing camera.

The new functionality is included with the latest version of Fring (3.0.0.4), which readily waits you at the AppStore. And before I let you go, check out a short demo video after the jump. Enjoy! ;)
