Plug-ins sound like a really interesting initiative, and it’s easy to imagine interest among devs who are looking for quick and dirty Android social networking integration without the fuss of making something from scratch. Twidroid is already hard at work on version 3.1, which will include an outbox for offline tweeting, native YouTube integration, and new language support, all coming sometime this month. You can nab the free and premium ($4.89) versions of Twidroid in the Android Market now, or check out their site for a closer look.
