Nokia E75 gets a new firmware update

Nokia has released a new firmware update for its QWERTY keyboard-equipped E75 smartphone. The 153MB-heavy update brings firmware to version 201.12.01, bringing tons of improvements, including:

  • Integrated Ovi Contacts
  • New shortcuts in Applications folder – Facebook, YouTube and MySpace
  • Calendar speed improvements and synchronisation bug fixes
  • Updated clients: N-Gage, Share Online, Nokia Messaging
  • Contacts speed improvements
  • Web update to next-gen browser, v7.1, which is faster
  • Overall UI speed improvements
  • Quickoffice updated to v5.3, with Office 2007 support (v6.0 is a free upgrade within the app)

AllAboutSymbian calls the new firmware a must-install, and we’ve nothing to add. Make sure to backup your data first, though. ;)
