Rihanna gets its own S60 touch app, compliments of Nokia

Nokia launched the Rihanna app for S60 touch phones (as far as I’ve understood) such as the Nokia N97, Nokia X6 and Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. The exclusive application (as Nokia emphasizes) delivers news, music, photos and video content to Rihanna fans.

That video content part is especially underlined, as it includes live performance clips from Rihanna’s album launch event. Additionally, there are music samples, a Rihanna biography and photo library, as well as information on the forthcoming 2010 tour (when available).

Of course, the application is closely tied to the Nokia Music Store from where you can download Rihanna’s songs, including a Nokia bonus track – Hole In My Head, written and produced by Justin Timberlake; and Donni Hotwheels’ remix of Rihanna’s Russian Roulette.

The Rihanna App and the mentioned exclusive video content from the show is available from nokia.com/rihanna, and you can also grab the app from the Ovi Store.
