The iPhone might not officially be able to pair with a wireless Bluetooth keyboard or a wireless Bluetooth mouse, but the jailbroken iPhone community isn’t going to let that stop them. Thanks to the open source Bluetooth stack project BTstack, we now have video of an Apple Magic Mouse controlling an iPhone over Bluetooth. Seeing as how the iPhone is designed for touchscreen navigation, this Bluetooth mouse demonstration is little more than just a proof of concept demonstration. We can’t imagine why you’d want to move a mouse cursor around the iPhone’s smaller display when you could more easily tap your finger on the screen, but it sure is cool.

Check out the video demonstration below. With a little luck, we’ll soon see video demonstrations of a Bluetooth keyboard working with native iPhone apps!
