A quick update of sorts here, regarding that new version of Poynt for BlackBerry that was leaked (v 1.5.2.25) not so long ago. Seems as though the very same version has been seeded to those in the Beta program. The biggest feature update in the build appears to be weather related. To check current conditions, all you need to do is launch Poynt, and the app background will reflect the current conditions, with temperature and current status listed at the bottom of the screen. Handy.

For more information on Poynt for BlackBerry, take a few minutes and browse around mypoynt.com. Last I heard, the Poynt Beta program was closed to the public. I may be wrong, but if the status has changed, stay tuned… I’ll be sure to bring you up-to-speed on how to join.
