On the BlackBerry scene over the past little while, there have been rumors that a new BlackBerry Pearl may sneak into the marketplace… In fact, we’ve been hearing about the Pearl 9100 since late November. There might even be an announcement at CES 2010. That’s what I’ve heard. Of course, this is all rumor and speculation at this point… But now, at the very least we have a video of the device in all its Pearl-ish glory. Yes, this could be a sign that a new Pearl 9100 is coming. Or, on the other hand, we could come away from CES 2010 with no new Pearl in-tow. We’ll see. Whatever the case, stay tuned to IntoMobile for CES 2010 goodness!

Note to Pearl users: Yep, that’s an optical trackpad on board the 9100. And, yes, I believe there’s WiFi on this bad boy. Also, if you check out Simon’s post from over a month ago, the 9100 is rumored to come with OS 5.0, 256MB of app memory and a 3.2MP camera. You want it yet!??? Or is the Pearl 9100 just a next-gen version of an experience and form-factor you’re not fond of?
