USAA mobile app for Android

USAA is “going Android” to allow Google OS-powered smartphone owners to deposit checks using their handsets, just like on the iPhone. Users do this by submitting an image of the front and back of an endorsed check.

A device running Android 1.6 or higher is required and you can grab the app from here (and from the Android Market).

And for the record, during the first five month after the iPhone app has been released, USAA customers have deposited more than $300 million. Impressive!
