After releasing its UI solution for Symbian and Windows Mobile, HipLogic is “going Android.” The goal is to provide carriers and OEMs with a more customizable (hence more brandable) user interface. HipLogic uses cloud-connected interface to provide all interested parties with what they want – carriers and OEMs get their brand always visible as well as the ability to change/tweak the UI over-the-air; whereas end users get a quick access to popular social networking services, news feeds and Internet search while at the same time saving on bandwidth (data is delivered in a compressed format).

Commenting on the Android solution release, HipLogic’s CEO Mark Anderson said: “We’re seeing an increased demand for a custom solution as the number of Android devices and offerings explode onto the market. HipLogic will empower operator networks and OEMs with the capability to create differentiated Android services and experiences.”
