Python for S60 has finally crossed the 2.0 mark. The new version works with Symbian S60 3rd Edition and above devices, and the code has been donated to the Symbian Foundation.
So far not that many developers have opted to use Python for their S60 apps, but now with the new version, that could change. Symbian on its end should help Python get some steam and eventually entice developers to make/port apps to the platform.
