Canadian consumers that may be looking to pick up one of the new Motorola Milestone devices off-contract may want to pay attention to this. That is, if a savings of $50 appeals to them. At launch (and currently) TELUS has the Milestone tagged at $199.99 on a 3-year contract, and $599.99 for the device only. Expensive for sure, but certainly comparable with other off-contract device prices nationwide. Best Buy has come out and put the same Motorola Milestone up for $549.99 off-contract, for a savings of $50. Not bad. If you were considering a device-only purchase, you may want to wander over to Best Buy. With the extra $50 in your pocket you might as well do some electronics shopping while you’re in-store.
