Some HTC Droid Eris users are reportedly already getting over-the-air updates to Android 2.1, so it’s not surprising to see the Droid Eris playing with the not-yet-released Android 2.1 OS and the updated Sense UI. Thanks to a commenter on one of our posts, we have video of the Droid Eris showing off the new features of Android 2.1 from Vimeo user NKTizzle. What you see below is the new Sense “Leap” feature that explodes the Sense homescreen into an easy-to-navigate grid of widgets, as well as a new navigation app. We also have video demo of the new Sense UI features here.
