I’m not quite sure how I ended up there, but early this morning I found myself on vajacases.com, browsing their premium (and handmade) goods. I love their stuff. I have cases for the original iPhone, the BlackBerry 8700 (old faithful), the 8800, and oh, yes I have an awesome yellow and black case for my iPod classic as well. The stuff is top-notch. Haven’t bought anything from them in awhile (as you can surely tell from the device models!), but I check back from time to time to see what’s new.

With that in mind, I happened to notice that Vaja has a ‘Classic Leather Pocket’ available for the Nexus One. Granted, a pocket-style case isn’t for everyone, but if you’re looking for a solidly made, handcrafted and CUSTOM case to take care of your pride and joy, this new pocket case is worth a look.

The pouch has openings for your headphone jack, and also gives you access to the power button. Pretty basic. But the fun part comes in when you customize the thing. Pop open the customizer and you can select two custom colors, plus you can also personalize it with some text or a graphic if you wish.

The price? $60, and the custom ‘handicraft’ process will take about 40 days. A bit of a wait for sure, but keep in mind you’re getting a custom made product here. To check it out for yourself head on over to Vaja.

Note: You’ll need to go Products > Phones > Google > Nexus One. Just a heads up :)
