Dial2Do has announced a compelling offering to get more people onto their safe-driving service that allows users to send and listen messages (and more) using only their voice. The trick was in partnering with a Bluetooth accessory maker to bundle the service with the accessory. And their partner is Jabra, which will link to Dial2Do Pro service on three of its products – SP200, CRUISER and BT2080.
Consumers who purchase any of the Bluetooth accessories mentioned get a voucher inside the box which gets them a complimentary 90-day subscription to the Dial2Do Pro service.
At the registration page, users create their accounts and are ready to manage their email, SMS, note-taking as well as social networking activities without writing a single word, using nothing but their voice.
The service is launched in the UK and costs £3.99/month or £39.99/year after the initial 90-day period expires. There’s also a free option which only does SMS, which should be good enough for most people.
Anyway, it’s a neat way to push the service forward and expand the reach beyond early adopters, or at least me thinks so.
