
Good news for the HTC Legend aka Hero 2 fans – the device has just cleared the FCC hurdle on its way to the U.S. market. So far we know Sprint will carry the device (while Desire goes to AT&T), but you never know who else could join the party. In other words, we’re waiting while keeping our ears on the streets.
And if you don’t know/remember the Legend’s specs, they include a 600Mhz CPU, Android 2.1 with updated Sense UI running on top of it, 3.2-inch 320×480 pixels capacitive touchscreen, 3G (HSPA for the GSM version) and WiFi connectivity, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus, GPS, compass, accelerometer, 1300 mAh battery and a memory card slot. However, the Legend’s main new feature is its aluminum-made casing which also serves as the phone’s frame.
