If you’ve been looking to grab yourself one of Palm’s webOS-powered devices, now’s your chance. There are great offers for both the Palm Pre and Pixi:
- Sprint is asking $49.99 (from $99.99) for the Pixi – after $100 mail-in rebate and with a two-year contract
- Best Buy is offering Verizon’s Pixi Plus for free and Pre Plus for $99.99 – both offers are good with instant savings and again with a two-year contract.
There are no really reasons to wait. About 2,000 apps are waiting and with the new version of webOS (1.4) available, both devices will get additional improvements with the Pre even getting the Adobe Flash support.
One can only hope these kind of discounts will help Palm get some solid figures and turn the company around. We really want to see webOS succeeding and on that note I always wondered why their international reach is limited to just few markets. Expanding to wider Europe and Asia is the way to go, or at least me thinks so…
