Although the original Rayman is not available for the iPhone/iPod Touch users, the second part has just hit the AppStore, brought to you with compliments of Gameloft.

The 3D game finds you controlling the iconic character across 45 levels, including waterfalls, deep sea caves and pirate hideouts. Your goal is to free all of your friends that have been captured and enslaved by ruthless pirates. Along the way, you’ll fight the mentioned pirates, robots, and see your magical powers growing as you progress through the game. Rayman will run, climb, swim, water-ski and even fly with his helicopter hair; and gather 1,000 hidden lums and four masks of Polokus.

The game looks awesome, as you can see from the screenshot above and the official trailer that follows after the jump.

If you enjoyed playing Rayman on your computer/console, you’ll certainly love playing it on your iPhone or iPod Touch. At the moment of this writing, it had 4 out 5 stars as rated by 44 people…
