The Big Red is continuing with its app recommendations. This week, however, they are tackling multiple platforms, not just webOS and/or Android. Here’s what they got:

For webOS devices (Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus):

  • Baseball Fans – The $3.99 app gives customers access to the latest news, videos, stats, standings and scores for all 30 professional baseball teams.
  • License Plate Game – This multi-player classic road trip game lets users keep track of the different license plates that they see while riding as a passenger in a vehicle. Price is $1.49.
  • GoodFood – Restaurants Near You – the name says it all.

For feature phones (Get It Now):

  • Photobucket Mobile Uploader – The $2.99 app automatically saves photos to your Photobucket account.
  • FOX Sports Ultimate – Available for $4.99, the application features live play by play, breaking news, scores and stats. Additionally, it allows users to keep track of their teams and make trades while checking out the new and veteran talent during spring training.
  • WeatherBug – weather forecast app that is available for a $2.99 subscription.

For Android smartphones:

  • Pro Baseball Live – free application that features the latest standings, the ability to keep track of your favorite teams and connect to Facebook and Google to chat with other fans.
  • Bars & Clubs – find a cool bar or club by distance and category.
  • HotelsByMe – Hotels & Hotel Reservations – for finding and booking a hotel while on the go.
  • Sixt Rent a Car – guess what this does?

And that’s it for this week. Stay tuned for more…
