As it keeps growing (and getting a new flux of money from Google), AdMob wants to address developers in a more personal fashion. Thus, they are organizing the first AdMob Developer Day on the afternoon of Thursday, March 25th in San Mateo.

Any mobile developer can participate, and so can those folks who are only interested in the mobile industry (i.e. media, business folks, bankers, etc).

The event builds on previous meetups and will feature a variety of sessions ranging from SDK installation to a discussion on various mobile business models. Moreover, new products and features that are incoming at AdMob will also be discussed, and the company’s CEO, Omar Hamoui, will also be there to share his thoughts on the state of the mobile industry and what lies ahead.

Detailed agenda is still unknown, but they promised to reveal it within next couple of days.

You are invited to RSVP yourself and your company from this page. And/or you can also fill out an anonymous survey from here.

Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
