Evernote to come pre-installed on Samsung Android smartphones

Evernote, my favorite note-taking tool, announced a partnership deal with Samsung that would see the Evernote client come pre-loaded on select Android smartphones made by the Korean company. As part of the deal, the Samsung Behold II has recently got a software update that included Evernote application.

Those unfamiliar should know that Evernote allows users to create text, image and video notes; and access them using a dedicated desktop client, web or their mobile phone (via mobile website or dedicated client). In addition to text, image and video files – Evernote can also “handle” various types of documents such as Microsoft Office files and PDF.

Personally, I use it for storing all kinds of notes, as well as business cards which get instantly indexed using the power of the OCR software. Needless to say – I love Evernote and so will you. If you still haven’t registered for the service, hop over to evernote.com and take it from there.
