Oxygen Software has updated its Oxygen Phone Manager for Symbian OS smartphones (now in version 2.18.18), bringing support for three new Nokia models – Nokia C5 (that entry level Symbian candybar), X6 (capacitive touchscreen-equipped S60 smartphone) and 6788. In addition, their SMS Manager application (also in version 2.18.18) has also been updated to sing along the phones mentioned above.

If you haven’t heard about Oxygen Phone Manager software, you should know that it is also known as a Nokia PC Suite replacement, with some folks even saying it’s what the PC Suite should’ve been. Oxygen’s solution may not be as user friendly as Nokia’s stuff (UI could use some extra polish), but is way more powerful, allowing some things you could only dream of with the PC Suite (Ovi Suite and NSeries Suite included).

All registered customers of Oxygen Phone Manager for Symbian OS and SMS Manager can download the new versions immediately from their personal pages, using the link provided in registration confirmation message.
