Google Mobile App for the BlackBerry Storm

Hey Stormies, if you’ve been wanting to get your hands on the Google Mobile App for some time now, but couldn’t because of compatibility issues… Your wait is over. Google just announced via the Google Mobile Blog that a new version is available, and the darn thing was built specifically with the Storm and Storm2 in-mind.

The new version contains all of the goodness you’ve come to enjoy, but it’s built to make the most of the Storm series’ touchscreen. Run voice searches by holding down the green button and speaking in English, Mandarin Chinese or Japanese. You can even use it to scour through your contacts, emails, heck you can even use it to find a particular phrase from the body of a message. Good times.

So, Storm users, if you’re ready to get your Google Mobile App on, just head on over to m.google.com from your BlackBerry Browser and you’ll be well and truly on your way. Happy Googling.
