AdMob

While AdMob was announcing its first developer’s conference, they also invited all interested companies and individuals to fill out a special survey. And voila… the results are here:

  • 31% of AdMob developers are working across multiple mobile platforms today and almost half (47%) said they plan on developing on more than one platform in the next six months.
  • More than 70% of iPhone developers plan to develop for Android over the next six months and close to half of Android developers (48%) plan to develop for iPhone.
  • Developers are generally satisfied with the success of their applications with 64% rating their app “very” or “somewhat” successful. They [developers] were most satisfied with the iPhone platform and least satisfied with RIM.
  • 58% of developers said they currently develop mobile Web sites.
  • Many developers are new to mobile with 49% saying they have been developing for mobile less than a year.

Unfortunately, we don’t know the total number of developers which participated in the survey. However, considering the number of apps per platform, results do sound believable, don’t you think?
