Samsung’s popular Corby phone has been released in new color versions in South Korea. The mid-range all-touchscreen device is now available in Lilac Blue, Violet Purple, Freesia Yellow, Peppermint Green and Rosebay Pink — all of which form the so called Corby Spring Collection.

With this addition, the Corby is now available in total of 10 colors in Samsung’s domestic market!

As a reminder, the Corby comes with a 3-inch display, T-DMB mobile TV receiver (Korean version, only), 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, media player and a microSD memory card slot. In addition, it also comes with dedicated apps that help its young users keep up with their buddies across social networking sites.

We’ve no idea whether Samsung plans to export the Corby Spring Collection outside of Korean peninsula, but something tells me we’ll see the popular phone getting new (other) color variations sooner rather than later in other parts of the world, as well. Scrap that, I expect that even some special editions of the device are released in due course… (not that I have any inside info).
