The Samsung U820 Reality was first announced back at CTIA, and will be ready for the masses on April 22, according to these Verizon documents. The Reality isn’t much to write home about: 3.2 megapixel camera, 3.5 mm headphone jack, TouchWiz 2.0, 240 x 400 touchscreen and landscape slide-out QWRERTY keyboard. It’s solid for the mid-range and the suite of social networking apps should keep rabid teenage texters amply occupied and sedated.
The specific price point isn’t mentioned, but it’ll have a $50 mail-in rebate, and will require a $9.99 data plan to buy – certainly can’t be that expensive.
