Ladies and gentlemen, it’s my honor to present you the first Nexus One clone (at least the first one I’ve seen). It’s called Teg W3000 and honestly it’s not a bad device, though of course we cannot recommend it to anyone due its spotty quality, to say the least. Not to mention “minor” copyright infringements.
Anyway, the Teg W3000 looks almost identical as the original device with first noticeable difference being in the UI. Instead of Android-like interface, this fake baby “borrows” icons from the iPhone.
Specs are also changed – there is no Snapdragon CPU under the hood, and instead of boasting a 5-megapixel camera, the fake Nexus One comes with two 2-megapixel cameras — one on the front and the other on the back. In total, that’s 4 megapixels. 😉
In addition, the Teg W3000 comes with an FM radio, analog TV tuner, Java support and a number of apps pre-installed such as web browser, social networking client, maps and so on.
In a nutshell – if you see that some site has “too good to be true” price for the Nexus One, that’s probably the case. Move on…
