In addition to their iPhone app, file sending service YouSendIt has just released a BlackBerry application that allows you to keep tabs on files that you have sent, forwarded, and check statistics on received files.
YouSendIt is built for those files that are just too big to e-maily, but still need to get where they’re goind as quickly as possible. They also have an Outlook plug-in, so you don’t even have to launch the browser (and potentially get screwed halfway through a download by accidentally closing a tab or navigating away) in order to send a file.
Head on over to blackberry.yousendit.com on your BlackBerry with OS 4.2.1 and up to get downloading.

UPDATE: Proper screenshots! Woo! YouSendIt for BlackBerry should be in App World within the next few weeks, I’ve been told.

In exploring RIM’s platform, he has learned what enterprises are looking for in mobility as well as what makes the innocuous BlackBerry so appealing to them. Recently Simon’s been covering RIM’s gradual move into an already-crowded consumer market, and the impact of burgeoning challengers, such as the iPhone, as well as long-time leaders, like Nokia, on BlackBerry’s advancement.
With plenty of content under his belt, Simon will be branching off a bit to see what other smartphone manufacturers are working on while still using BlackBerry as a barometer. At IntoMobile, you can count on his posts being even-handed, well-informed and thought-out.
