iPhone Gets Dudes More Women – Research

According to a recent survey of 1500 British women, 54% of respondents said they would be more likely to date a man if they owned an iPhone, and 37% said it made men look more reliable and insinuated that it makes them seem more affluent, even though other research shows that iPhone owners generally earn less than average.

Ladies, I don’t know about you, but the first thing that pops into mind when I think of your average iPhone user is that guy up there – the dude who thinks he’s hot shit because he has something with an Apple logo on the back, but couldn’t be bothered to do his homework and find out that there are about a million phones that can do the exact same thing. To be fair, the stigma of owning a BlackBerry, that of an always-connected workaholic who is hard-pressed to break away from his device long enough to make eye contact with others during a meal, is conceivably worse.

Although the press release says the survey was made by Phones 4u, apparently there’s been a ton of confusion regarding the source – really, it was Phones 4u’s marketing partner, StickyEyes, without the knowledge or approval of their client. Whatever the case, take the findings with a grain of salt.

“iPhone owners generally earn less than average.” – ORLY? For sure not in Poland :)

Well, I think the exact wording was that they had less disposable income – slightly different, but same idea.

“… there are about a million phones that can do the exact same thing.”

Of course, with DOS you can also do the same as with modern a OS.
