Those of you slobbering over the latest batch of myTouch Slide screenshots are in for a disappointment. Originally rumoured to be available on May 17, apparently the launch date has been moved back to June 2. Packing a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.1, 3.5″ display, 512 MB of memory, 5 megapixel camera, and comes with an 8 GB microSD memory card slot. Known elsewhere as the HTC Espresso, a few new elements have been added, even on top of the already-excellent Sense user interface. The two week delay is a little disappointing, but most folks who are looking for another HTC device to replace their G1 will happily wait.
