One of my favorite iPhone games (for some time now) has been CANABALT. The game is simple. You’re a guy, running along rooftops, jumping between buildings and through windows… trying to escape what looks like earth’s destruction. Armageddon, one might say. Aliens (or something) are invading, and they’ll often get in your path as well, but can be avoided with a mighty jump.
I happened to stumble upon a new web version of the game (at least I think it’s new), and it features 3 gameplay modes. The first and second mode allow you to use the space bar or double-click function on your mouse to jump… the third method (and this is the interesting one) forces you to type in the letter displayed at the top of the screen to jump. Who knew iPhone developers could have education at heart?
