Axel Technologies, the company behind the popular mobile TV application Fuugo that we covered for quite a few times in the past, announced that is partnering with Symbio, to accelerate the Fuugo R&D and help the company conquer new markets around the globe.

The official word goes like this (from the press release):

The strategic partnership with Symbio is part of Axel Technologies’ latest investment round with existing investors Nexit Ventures and Finnish Industry Investment Ltd. In addition to new financing, Axel is strengthening its business with a reliable co-creation partner that extends and enhances its R&D, integration and support capabilities. Symbio’s robust mobile, Android and multimedia integration and global technical support expertise frees Axel Technologies to focus on innovative product development and grow the business.

And in case you don’t know, Fuugo’s main strength is that it blends content choices from broadcast TV, mobile TV, Internet videos and social media. It works across various mobile platforms and is apparently super easy to use — I haven’t tried it myself, to be completely honest…
