Samsung is bringing the Wave to its own backyard. It’s pretty much the “regular Wave” with the addition of T-DMB mobile TV, which seems as a must have feature in the ever advanced market of South Korea.
SK Telecom is Samsung’s “partner in crime” and it will offer the device for still undisclosed price. We’ve no doubts that information on pricing and exact availability date will be known within days, though.
As you probably already know, the Samsung Wave is the company’s first Bada-powered device, which specs include such things as 3.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive WVGA touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera with flash, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, GPS, Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, Bluetooth 3.0 and so on. In addition to GSM-based version, the Korean electronics maker is also working on a CDMA variant which for now is slated to hit China Telecom. Hopefully, such a device will also be released through U.S. carriers Sprint and Verizon Wireless in due course…
