Zong creates one-click mobile payment solution for Android

Zong has created what they say is the first one-click mobile payment solution for Android! The solution has been released in private beta to select (approved) developers, who can integrate this payment option into their applications. Apparently, the end result is a seamless experience for end users that doesn’t require registration or login. Zong on its end verifies the user, bills their mobile phone account and returns them to their application or game without delay.

Sounds promising and something Google should’ve integrated within the Android platform. Because the search giant hasn’t done so, we have companies such as Zong and Boku pushing their solution to the developers.

Something tells me Zong knows what it’s doing. The company already works with thousands of merchants in popular virtual worlds, online gaming, social networking and digital content properties. Their solution combines carrier billing with credit, debit and prepaid cards.

Zong is most famously known as the mobile payments provider for Facebook Credits, and has recently raised additional $15 million in funding.
