SouthernLINC Wireless unveils $50 Prepaid Unlimited Monthly plan

As more and more people dig the idea of contract-free and unlimited mobile plans, SouthernLINC Wireless is joining the ride. The company is expanding its prepaid service offerings with the addition of the Prepaid Unlimited Monthly plan, which is already available for customers. For $50 per month, users get unlimited Anytime Cellular Minutes, unlimited text messaging, unlimited Push To Talk (PTT) two-way radio, unlimited MyLINC Web browser and unlimited picture messaging — picture messaging will be available within a month or so (UPDATE).

Also included in the plan are Nationwide Long Distance, basic voice mail, directory assistance, caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, call hold, three-way calling, and access to ringtones, wallpapers and other downloads. I’m not sure how the last few mentioned are “part of the plan” but I guess the idea is to show “just how much you get” for $50 a month.

Similarly to Boost Mobile’s offering, SouthernLINC’s new plan doesn’t require a contract or credit check. However, it’s important to add that Nationwide Long Distance and unlimited services are only available within the SouthernLINC’s Regional Calling Area.

Additional information about the new plan are available from a dedicated page on SouthernLINC’s website.
