Slacker Radio for iPhone (iPod Touch and iPad) is in the version 2.0. The main new thing is the ability to cache your favorite music stations and listen to the music even when you’re not connected to a wireless network. The new feature requires the Slacker Radio Plus subscription, but once that is set (paid) you’re ready to take your music with you, no matter where you’re going (happen to be).
In addition, Slacker Radio 2.0 also comes with other features, such as:
- Greatly improved battery life
- Unlimited song skipping
- Ad-free listening
- Complete song lyrics
- Unlimited song requests for creating stations
- Music library featuring millions of songs
- No monthly listening limits
- High-quality stereo playback
- Over 120 professionally programmed genre stations
- Create custom stations based on artists or songs
- Fine tune stations on-the-fly to play more of the music you like
- View artist biographies and photos
- View album art and reviews
- “Peek Ahead” artist and album preview
- Pause and skip songs
- Rate songs as favorites
- Ban the songs and artists you don’t like
Slacker Radio 2.0 application is available free of charge, but Slacker Radio Plus subscription requires you pouring out $3.99 per month, which honestly is not that much. If you’re interested, simply tap the “Upgrade” button from within the app and take it from there…
