LG announced a new touchscreen slate recently called the Viewty Snap (GM360). It packs a 3″ touchscreen, Bluetooth 2.1, FM radio, social networking apps, including Facebook, and push e-mail. The phone supports a variety of document and media viewing, so it should do well as both a business and pleasure device. I’m going to presume that “Optic-all” means optical zoom on the 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. You can take pictures in low light and in continuous shooting (good for fast-moving targets), as well as upload with one touch to your social networks.

No mention of carrier or pricing, but odds are it’ll be available in the UK for free on contract.

Great little phone. Easy to personalize, easy to use, versatile, not too expensive. One point against is that the internal memory available to a user is only 28 mega bytes, so really a MicrodSD should also be bought – they range from 2 gigabytes to 16 gigabytes from about 10 British pounds – and then you have an excellent piece of kit. Thouroughly recommend it.
