Samsung’s UK site is showing off a new phone next to the Wave and Galaxy S called the Galaxy Apollo, which is likely the M100S which was unveiled in South Korea in February. Yes, it has TouchWiz, yes, we want to punch it in the face as much as you do, but the specs aren’t half bad: Android 2.1, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetoot, 5 megapixel camera, 3.7″ WVGA AMOLED display, 5 megapixel camera (which can handle 720p video recording) and an 800 MHz processor.

Although Samsung has been slightly diverted from their Android efforts now that they have their own operating system to take care of, they still seem willing to play nice with Android. That’ll be a good fallback for when Bada slowly but surely disappears into irrelevance. There’s an event on June 29 that we’re presuming is a Galaxy S launch, but who knows, maybe they’ll throw in this Galaxy Apollo for good measure.
