A company called Smart Health Software has released a really useful application for the iPhone – Pain Free Back. As you can guess from its title, we’re talking about an app that’s made to “provide individuals with a diagnosis and treatment for lower back pain.” It leads users through a personalized, guided discovery of potential causes of their pain and demonstrates simple exercises to help relieve discomfort and improve spinal health.

According to the American Academy of Neurological and Orthopedic Surgeons, more than 25 million people around the world suffer from back pain and approximately 80% of Americans will be affected by back pain at some point in their lives. In other words, Smart Health Software has quite a population to count on with its app.

And they seem to know what they’re doing as Neil Chasan, founder of the company, has more than 25 years of experience in biomechanics and is specialized in the evaluation and improvement of functional body strength.

Enough said. Pain Free Back is definitely a useful app to have around, especially in these hot days when air conditioning systems are working round the clock. AppStore link is below.
