The streaming video service Ustream introduced Ustream Live Mobilizer, a complete customized mobile platform for artists, teams, brands and companies. The solution offers interested parties to reach mobile consumers and fans through live video, social media integration, seamless content management and monetization tools, along with other engagement and reporting options.

Ustream Live Mobilizer’s features include:

  • Customization: The custom-branded app includes Ustream’s Live Video Broadcasting platform so artists and companies can create their own branded shows from anywhere.
  • Social media and store integration: The solution can be integrated with popular social networking sites as well as with iTunes and web stores.
  • Monetization: Artists, brands and companies keep all the control – they can set app pricing and/or eventually include ads into their apps.

Among the first Ustream clients are Hollywood Records artists Miley Cyrus and Allstar Weekend (coming soon). Miley is using the app to host a full album listening party prior to her record being available to the public at retail stores. Hollywood records artists Alpha Rev and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals have also developed apps using the Ustream Live Mobilizer platform and plan to kick off their campaigns in July…
