One of the best reasons to have an Apple iPad is to handle all your web and e-mail stuff, so I’m happy to see that Google has refreshed its Gmail web app just for the iPad. When you’re composing mail on your iPad, you’re probably used to seeing the split pane window and for some of you, it is an aesthetic nightmare. Well, the Gmail app now opens up a full window just for composing mail, and if you had any issues with scrolling on long messages, that’s fixed, too.
Google basically took all your feedback from the “Send Feedback” feature at the bottom of the screen and began answering all your prayers and listening to your woes. While this is just the start, there will be plenty more upgrades on the way as Google continues to tweak and “experiment with the large touchscreen and tablet form factor so send more feedback if you have suggestions.”
