junaio has a brand new channel available in its augmented reality app. It’s called “Wo guckst Du?” (English: “where are you watching?”) and it’s made in partnership with Vodafone. By selecting it [channel], users will be able to locate public viewing spots nearby. That by itself isn’t something new, as you can use some other app like Footy Pubs 2010 for the same purpose. But wait, there’s more…
In addition to locating a place where to watch a World Cup match, the new channel will also allow you to get real-time game statistics, provided by the largest independent media service provider IMPIRE!
While you are watching the game, you can read about the number of goals, shots on goal, corner kicks, off-sides, penalties, time of possession, passes, fouls, etc., or simply review the team line-up directly overlaid onto the football field. We’re talking about the same data that is being fed to TV stations, publishing companies, internet services and soccer clubs. Love it!
As you know (hopefully), junaio is a free app available for the iPhone 3GS/4 and Android-powered devices…
