Rogers 8GB iPhone 3GS

Not surprisingly, the 8GB iPhone 3GS is now available on Rogers. I say ‘not surprisingly’, because the same device launched on Rogers’ discount carrier, Fido, earlier this week. It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that Rogers dumped the first batch of 8GB 3GS’ off at Fido for clearance… only to follow things up by pushing the remainder out the door of their main retail locations.

Pricing on the Rogers 8GB iPhone 3GS is the same as on Fido, at $99 on a 3-year term. If you want the device-only, be prepared to shell out $549 (again, the same as Fido). If scratching up the coin to purchase the iPhone 4 is an issue for you… it’s good to see slight discounts are being offered on previous-gen units. Still, if you’re in no rush you’d be wise to wait a little while longer… the carriers are only going to keep dropping prices on these older iPhones. Time it right, and you could get a heck of a deal on a not-so-old iPhone. Keep that in mind.
