Local and regional carriers are often times a little late when it comes to adopting the latest in smartphones. Case in point today comes from one of my local carriers. Manitoba Telecom Services (MTS) has just launched the BlackBerry Storm2 9550. Better late than never, I guess.
The MTS BlackBerry Storm2 9550 features everything you’ve come to expect from the latest-gen Storm, including a 3.25″ display (480×360), virtual QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, autofocus, image stabilization and video, 3.5mm headset jack, speakerphone, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, 2GB on-board memory and expansion to 16GB via microSD.
Pricing? Manitobans are looking at $199.99 on a 3-year term (with a minimum $39.99 voice/data plan), $299.99 on a 2-year, and $524.99 on a 1-year. For more information, hit up MTS.
