I’m getting old… Who would say that it was a year ago when I first wrote about the formation of Tata DOCOMO. Belive it or not, it WAS a year ago as these days they are celebrating the first anniversary.

In the meantime, the carrier has unveiled some cool and innovative stuff, including charging people per number of letter you text, “Voice Free” plans, Daily Plans, BuddyNet and so on — all of which helped it grab AP’s fastest growing network title.

Back to the anniversary. As part of the celebration, Tata DOCOMO is launching a new campaign, offering its customers the ability to win various prizes, ranging from free minutes to LCD TV sets.

In order to win, customers have to recharge their mobile by calling the free number 52222 and simply follow the IVR process to participate in the “Celebration 1” contest. Furthermore, existing and new prepay customers would be getting a talk time of Rs. 100 + 10 minutes (local/STD), on recharge of Rs. 110… Nice!
