Verizon Wireless announces second Developer Community Conference to take place in Las Vegas, September 21-22

Verizon Wireless announced its second annual Verizon Developer Community (VDC) Conference on September 21 and 22 at the ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Here’s what’s it all about (in case you can’t imagine):

This year’s VDC Conference will provide mobile applications developers and others with an update of Verizon Wireless’ strategy around applications and the developer portal as well as a host of in-depth sessions on topics ranging from APIs and other network enablers to opportunities for developers in vertical markets. Special sessions devoted to open development, connected devices, and the opportunities tied to the forthcoming 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network will also be offered, and Verizon Wireless leaders and other partners will talk about marketing, merchandising and technical resources available to members of the VDC.

Since the inaugural VDC Conference, more than 5,000 developers have joined Verizon’s developer community to sell their products via V CAST Apps, the carrier’s application store… And you can get more information about the event and register while you’re there from a dedicated website.
