Just a quickie here for the BlackBerry user that may be a bit of a hardcore gamer. If tanks and guns and ‘tesla coils’ are your thing… then you’re going to love this. Guess what? Command & Conquer 4 is now available for the BlackBerry! Woohoo!
Released just the other day by our friends at Bplay, Command and Conquer brings a whole lot of C&C action to your BlackBerry. If you were a fan of the Tiberian, Red Alert or Generals series (or all of them), chances are this is at the very least worth a look. True, you’re not going to get as rich or feature-filled experience as you would on a desktop, but if the BlackBerry is your device of choice… I’m afraid this is the best you’re going to do 🙂
Here’s a snippet from the official description:
Kane returns with sinister force in the most anticipated RTS experience ever made for mobile! Choose offensive or defensive classes from the equally potent GDI or Nod factions, and for the first time, command the mobile Crawler base and move it anywhere on the map. Mobilize for an all-out action-strategy blitz across two fateful campaigns featuring innovative RPG-style character progression.
The graphics look great, and for the price, I have a feeling I’d get a lot of gameplay out of this one. Command & Conquer for BlackBerry should run just fine for all current-gen devices, including the Storm series, Bold series… and the Torch too.

Note: If you give this one a spin, be sure to drop me a note to let me know what you think. I was big into the ‘Red Alert’ series years ago, so whenever a new C&C title comes up… I want to know more!
